In April 2024, the Zhengzhou Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology released an official announcement in accordance with the Implementation Plan for the Zhengzhou SME Digital Transformation City Pilot Program (Zhengzhou Government Office [2024] No. 10) and the Notice on Soliciting the First Batch of SME Digital Transformation Pilot Enterprises issued by the Zhengzhou Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology (Zheng Gong Xin Enterprise [2024] No. 3). Following enterprise applications, recommendations from district and county authorities, and expert evaluations, 153 enterprises in Zhengzhou were selected as the first batch of pilot enterprises for SME digital transformation.
